Reclaimed/RecycledCotton

Recycled Cotton

Reclaimed/recycled cotton, which is sometimes blended with recycled plastic bottles to make clothing and textiles, is collected from combing waste, cutting scraps and excess yarn thrown out at manufacturers. The waste is sorted, re-fiberized, and blended to make cotton in many different colors. Thus, no new cotton, dyes, or chemicals are used. This process is both cheaper and more environmentally and socially responsible than harvesting, spinning, and dying new cotton.
